Meet Kristian GENT-STANDEN

Kristian Gent-Standen is a halfback who has been actively involved with both the Taupō Marist rugby club and the King Country Rams provincial team.

His recent career includes:

King Country: He has been a prominent player for the King Country Rams. In 2024, he was the starting halfback in numerous Heartland Championship matches, including the victorious Lochore Cup final against West Coast where he scored his second of two tries in the match. His strong performances and industrious play for the Rams led to his selection for the New Zealand Heartland XV in 2024. He was also part of the King Country squad in 2022, where he was noted as a new recruit returning to the region, competing for the number nine jersey.

According to available statistics for 2024, he played 12 provincial games for King Country, scoring two tries, and also played two games for the NZ Heartland team, scoring one try.
